10th Annual Tom's Turkey Drive
The 10th annual Tom's Turkey Drive is the premier turkey and food drive in the Inland Northwest. Food and money raised provide area families with a Thanksgiving meal and help fight hunger throughout the holiday season and into the new year. Donations are first used to help families in need at Thanksgiving. Gifts also support Second Harvest's work to lead the fight against hunger in the region.
Hunger knows no season and nearly half of emergency food clients in Spokane are children. Last year, Tom's Turkey Drive was able to lend a hand by collecting 8,500 meals and more than $60,000. Join us for the 10th anniversary of Tom's Turkey Drive. You can help us reach our goal of raising enough food and funds to feed 10,000 families by donating now online. Or visit any Spokane, Deer Park or Colfax area Rosauers store on Nov. 20 and 21 and purchase $15 bags of food to donate.
Your support will make a difference. Every dollar donated to Second Harvest is multiplied by volunteers and food donors until it provides six pounds of food - that's about four meals - for hungry people.
- $15 donation at any Spokane, Deer Park or Colfax area Rosauers on Nov. 20 and 21 delivers a fantastic holiday meal for a family of four.
- $5 donation helps Second Harvest distribute 30 pounds of donated food (about 20 meals).
- $30 donation is turned into 180 pounds of donated food (about 120 meals).
- $60 donation provides 360 pounds of donated food (about 240 meals).
