Craig Goodwin brings his many talents as church leader, accomplished author and advocate for the hungry to the Second Harvest boardroom.
Goodwin, who earned a doctorate in Missional Leadership from Fuller Seminary, has served as the Pastor at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church in West Valley for the past eight years. Goodwin wrote 'Year of Plenty: One Suburban Family, Four Rules, and 365 Days of Homegrown Adventure in Pursuit of Christian Living.'
Goodwin also writes a popular blog http://www.yearofplenty.org/ that focuses on food, faith and justice in the rich agricultural region of the Inland Northwest. His work on the intersections of food and faith has been featured on NPR, PBS, Presbyterians Today Magazine and in the The New York Times. Goodwin, who is married and has two daughters, also manages a farmers' market, is a master food preserver and a fire chaplain.
