As president and CEO of Numerica Credit Union, Carla Altepeter has a wealth of experience managing companies and serving as a board member, chair and vice chair for numerous nonprofits and business associations.
Altepeter, a married mother of four grown children, was previously the president and CEO of CitizensFirst Credit Union in Oshkosh, Wis. While living in Oshkosh, she served on governing boards for Affinity Healthy Systems, the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh and the Paine Art Center and Gardens. She served as past chairwoman of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce and the Oshkosh Economic Development Council.
At that state level, she was vice chair of boards for the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation, Wisconsin Credit Union Review, and the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) Wisconsin Council, as well as a member of the Wisconsin Credit Union League Governmental Affairs Committee. At the national level, Altepeter was past board member of the Credit Union National Association and was past chair of CUES. She was inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame in 2010.
Altepeter earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, as well as several advanced certifications
