Letter Carriers Food Drive The National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive will collect vital food supplies throughout Spokane County. Volunteers are needed to help pick up bags from porches along postal routes and to help out at collection sites located throughout Spokane. The U.S. Postal Service will distribute donation bags provided by Progressions Credit Union to households in advance of the drive.
June 14 The Spokesman-Review Food Drive The community will have another opportunity to help fight hunger during The Spokesman-Review Food Drive. Collection bags for the annual food drive will be distributed in local neighborhoods by newspaper carriers. On Saturday, June 14, newspaper carriers and volunteers will pick up the bags filled with nonperishable food donations.

Many thanks to the Spokane Youth Sports Association, The Spokane Shadow Youth Soccer Club and the Spokane Soccer Academy for holding a food drive at their training sessions on May 20. More than 250 pounds of food was raised to benefit Second Harvest.
