By coming together as a community, we can make a difference. Please help us fight hunger during the KNDU/KNDO-Bechtel-URS Feeding Families Food Drive, April 23 through May 17. Second Harvest transforms every dollar you donate into six pounds of food – that's about four meals – for people in need. Your donation by April 30 will be stretched even further, as a portion of the gifts Second Harvest receives during this time will be matched by the Feinstein Foundation's $1 million national challenge to fight hunger. Tell Hunger to Take a Hike

Register for this event at Bethel Church or the Trail Head at Badger Mountain at 6:30 a.m. on May 5. The entry fee is $10 per hiker. Click here for more information or contact Debbie at 585-3924. 

National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

May 12

Postal employees will Stamp Out Hunger again this year with their annual food drive. You can support the hunger-relief effort by filling a bag with nonperishable food and leaving it near your mailbox on Saturday, May 12. Letter carriers, their families and friends, and Second Harvest's volunteers will pick up those donations from households throughout the community.
